Our Team - Aaron 'Moe' Martin

A customer favorite, Moe has worked for Weiss Meats for four years. Whether he's slicing up your favorite cut of meat, suggesting a great way to prepare your steaks, or just helping a customer fill an order, Moe always does his best to make sure that your visit to Weiss is a great one. We often get feedback from our customers about how quickly Moe takes care of your orders and how helpful he is when you have questions.
When Moe isn't hard at work in the store, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend of five years. Moe also has a number of hobbies, and when he's not working on his house, you can often find him fishing, or playing drums and guitar. Now all we have to do is convince him and Paul to team up for a summer concert.
Your favorite thing about working for Weiss Meats:
Having the owners be here every day. It gives you a direct line of communication with them and helps to create a family atmosphere.
Funniest thing that happened to you while working at Weiss Meats:
Seeing a co-worker come in with two different boots on - left foot from one pair, right foot from another.
An accomplishment you're proud of:
Buying my first house last summer.
Favorite product at Weiss Meats:
The Canadian Bacon. It has a good balance of sweetness and smokiness.
Most Common questions from your customers:
- What can you use a striploin for other than steaks? It can be roasted or used for beef tips and Kabobs.
- What's the difference between a T-Bone and a Porterhouse? A Porterhouse has a larger part of the tenderloin.
- What is the difference between spare ribs and country ribs? Spare ribs come from the side of hog, while country ribs come from the end of the loin.
Something that you'd like to tell all of your customers:
